Accessorize

A fun way to funk any outfit out is with a thick silver linked chain.  It's more fun when worn with something more soft and girly, but that's just my opinion.  You can find something similar to this at Charlotte Russe.

This would be a perfect necklace to top off the outfit below!

Rip it, bleach it, rock it...

Both of these looks are so rocker chic & so easy to attain.  This warms my heart.  If you're savvy with the scissors go nuts on pair of old jeans.

If bleach is more your thing, the dab it all over the denim, then wash it out completely before you put them on

To top it off, hit your nearest American Apparel store and grab a grey tee or tank.  Add pazazz with some pleid or a chunky necklace as displayed.  Or, give it your own signature touch to mix it up.

Don't you love when fashion is that simple?

Eye candy

Can everyone rock this?  Maybe not.  Confidence is key when it comes to the one-sleeved dress.  So if you think you can take on the challenge of a sequined filled, one single sleeved dress, please, rock it with your head held high.

The baby blues..

Okay, it's no secret (for those of you who know me) that I have a sick obsession with boyfriend jeans.  I'd be lying if I said I've tried on the Gap boyfriend jeans, so I'm not going to persuade anyone to go there to buy them.  But, based off the skinny jeans, I'd  bet that they would turn out to be a fantastic choice.  The skinny jeans aren't exactly the skinniest of all the skinny jeans I've ever put onto my short legs, but when the fabric touched my skin, I instantly fell in love.  They're almost like boyfriend-ish on short people, so I would recommend to check them out.  If not for the look, just for the feel... I'd sleep in my skinny jeans.  (Plus, the price is unbeatable)

You go gap!

*Frugalista alert

For all
you fashionstas who have yet to land a million bucks to blow on clothing, here's a great solution for the military look.  It's from Charlotte Russe (I know, I was shocked too).  I added a tank from Old Navy, and the jeans are from Forever 21, spending under $50 total on the whole outfit!
To make this a night out, rock it out with the sequin top also from Forever 21!

*sidenote: I'm not a model, so please disregard the awkward poses

Black is the new black.

If I could envision perfection in a boot these would be the first thing to appear in my mind. Stunning studs all over the boot giving it the edge any outfit needs.  (Her leather jacket is not too shabby either)

& the dress is not lagging too far behind in the perfection department.  Everyone can use the traditional 'little black dress' but the skirt adds a necessary whimsical touch.  I would suggest to mix it with a pair of stilettos drenched in studs to mix hard and soft.  Or, glam it up with a pair of red shoes, in which you can never go wrong.

The dress is from H&M, so check your local store!  Doesn't get any better..

Funkin' feathas

I mean, do I really need to explain.
Crazy amaze, love. Love, love, love!
Can we afford these? No, but I'm sure
Steve Madden will supply a fabulous knock off
 in the near future!

Seal the deal...

So loving this right now.  Military jackets are all the rage, but this skirt is the icing on the cake.  Wearing the skirt with a sparkly glitter top and a brown jacket, or the jacket, with a sequin top and skinny jeans would be my suggestion when you're in the mood to resemble a navy seal. To add the girly edge, rock it out with chunky silver or gold bracelets (what ever color the details are)

It doesn't get any better

These are truly Gay Pride-alicious.  The colorful sparkle-tastic shoes may have not been made to rep your fave gay pal, but I'm truly obsessed.  Give me sparkles and rainbows anyday... perfection

Martisse obsessions..

Brooke Martisse does it best when it comes to knitwear.  Her signature dress was featured on SNL worn by the beautiful Beyonce Knowles, who proudly showed off her curves.  The designer is innovative, talented, and experienced, working with such designers as Douglas Hannant, Carolina Herrera, and Lela Rose, before taking on a label for her own.  If you are looking a dress that shows off the best contours of your body, her designs are for you.

"One day in 1976, I did a picture for the cover of Interview. And I had my hair very straight, blown out, and so we did the shoot, we shot the picture. And then my friend the photographer said, 'Now wet your hair.' And I said, 'What do you mean? I can't wet my hair.' And he said, 'I just want to try something.' And my hair was superfrizzy, and of course that's what ran on the cover, and that's how I've worn it since."

Bigger is SO much better!

I am now Mark Fast's number one fan.  Well, maybe not, but I have gained a new respect for the designer who decided to use plus sized models at this years  London Fashion week!

Contrary to the opinions of his stylist and creative director who walked out on the fashion production 3 days before he showed, "bigger" is looking fabulous!  He has created a little bit of controversy which brings attention to his cause, whether it's a purposeful cause or not, it's created a bold and positive statement.

Not everyone has to be a size 2 to rock it out on the runway. Loves.

Religion and Modeling? A ridiculous mix..

An article about a modeling agency trying to push Christianity onto models that work for them.  The most ridiculous part is trying to promote inner beauty.  I'm all about it, but modeling?  It's purely about outer beauty, let's be serious.

Keeping the peace

Even if you're not interested in buying the brass-knuckle "Peace Keeper" bags, James Piatt demonstrates the true meaning of edge through his fashion photography featured on his website.  The bags poke fun at a dead version of  Tinkerbell (Paris Hiltons dog), gun shaped bags, and other dark but interesting ideas.  They embody humor and controversy, the perfect recipe for fashion with a societal reflection.  The bags run from $85-$989.

Awesomeness in Finland

From the streets of Helsinki, Finland these photos reveal the edgy clothing choices that all the fashion conscious citizens in the capital are  rocking.   It includes a quote from the people themselves talking about their fashion inspirations and where they purchased some of the pieces they're wearing.  Pure awesomeness.
